Immersive, South Island exploration
For those with limited time, this nine-day tour of New Zealand’s South Island offers an exciting and picturesque experience. The journey begins in Christchurch, travels to breathtaking locations like Wanaka, Queenstown, Franz Josef Glacier, Tekapo (a recognized International Dark Sky Reserve), and returns via Arthur’s Pass. Along with numerous other scenic locations, there is an optional visit to Milford Sound, which Rudyard Kipling called the “eighth Wonder of the World.” Heli-hiking, quad biking, kayaking, scenic flights, stargazing, and thrill-seeking activities like bungy jumping, jet boating, and skydiving are just a few of the optional activities available on this small-group, guided tour. During the tour, you can make reservations for activities with your guide. Dorm sharing includes lodging, and when making an online reservation, you can choose to upgrade to a private room. Christchurch can be explored during the day before the tour, which starts in the evening. The tour website offers suggestions. If you want to stay longer in New Zealand, you can add more nights. I can provide you with more information or booking options if you’d like.
